John LeCours is a New Hampshire based painter. LeCours holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He takes inspiration from the natural beauty of his native New England .  In his paintings , John seeks to convey a feeling ……..an atmosphere …….a mood .  He is searching for the ethereal qualities in nature .  When he is not painting, John works as a Project Manager at Applied Graphics in Amesbury, MA. The artist lives in Epping, NH .

My central aim in painting is to create beautiful imagery. My creative process centers on a direct response to nature, in the tradition of Henry David Thoreau. I hope to evoke a response in the viewer to these experiences.
